System Fixes
Short practical lessons about improving everyday business processes. Two minutes each.
- 2 min readNobody owns your WhatsApp inbox. That's why enquiries go cold.Enquiries rarely go cold because the message was wrong. They go cold because two people each assumed the other had replied. The fix is a rota, not software.
- 2 min readYour customer list lives in one person's phoneIf customer details only exist in a WhatsApp history on somebody's handset, you do not have a customer list. Here is the five-column version that fixes it this week.
- 2 min readCustomers keep asking the same question. Answer it where they ask it.The fifth time you type the same answer, the problem is not the customer. Keep a tally for one week, then put the top three answers where people are actually standing.
One test decides what goes up here: would a business owner find this genuinely useful even if they never speak to us? More will be added at the rate they pass it.
Why we publish these, and what we will not publish
That test rules out most of what sits under the word “resources” on agency websites. No collections of prompts, no recycled advice with our logo on it, no thin pages written to give a keyword somewhere to land. A handful of tools that do something is a better library than thirty pages that do not.
It also rules out anything you could get from a chatbot in one sentence. If the whole value of a page is that it writes some words for you, it does not need to be here, and the tools above are built the other way round: every result comes from your own numbers or your own answers about how your business actually runs, which is the part no general tool has.
Each tool publishes its own rules or its own arithmetic on the page, so you can see exactly why you got the answer you got. None of them uses AI, none collects anything, and none pretends to be an audit. If we ever build one that does need AI, that page will say where it is used and what gets sent.
There is no publishing schedule, because a schedule is how the test above gets quietly dropped.
